IMAGINE PEACE (2016) is an update of Ono’s billboards reworked in film, created in conjunction with Art Production Fund and Times Square Arts in several versions from 2012 onwards.
The film displays the words IMAGINE PEACE in 24 languages against a background of blue sky and clouds.
Yoko Ono is a Japanese multimedia artist, singer, songwriter, and peace activist. Her work also encompasses performance art and filmmaking.
