The cool lighting was created because of some amazing local schoolchildren who imagined their own versions of jellyfish!
This just goes to show that creativity knows no bounds and can come from anyone, even the little ones. Can you imagine what other awesome designs we could come up with if we let our imaginations run wild like these kids did? We can’t wait to see what other masterpieces we can create in the future!
FUN JELLYFISH FACTS
Simon Clegg is a highly accomplished graphic designer and illustrator. His talent was clearly evident during his studies at Blackpool & Fylde College, where he received a commendation Diploma.
Simon gained valuable experience working in tabloids, designing features, illustrations, and advertising before taking on a role as Concept Designer at EDS Studios. There, he demonstrated his exceptional design skills by creating Themed Rides for world-renowned organisations such as The Trafford Centre, Legoland, Coral Island, Blackpool Tower, and Sealife Centre.

Blackpool Illuminations has its own highly skilled and experienced production team consisting of engineers, technicians, artists, animators and riggers, based at a state of the-art depot, known as ‘Lightworks’ based near Blackpool Airport.
The team have a wealth of experience manufacturing installations using many different types of materials.
