Blackpool’s much-loved, award-winning Lightpool Festival is back this October half-term – and we’re celebrating our 10th anniversary! Taking place from 21–31 October 2026, we will bring the town to life with a fantastic programme for audiences of all ages.
Expect dazzling light installations, engaging live performances and spectacular 3D projections, all part of a free art trail across indoor venues and outdoor locations throughout Blackpool.
To help make our 10th anniversary festival extra special, we’re looking for a team of friendly, passionate and responsible volunteers to join us.
Volunteering is a brilliant opportunity to:
- Meet new people and make new friends
- Try something new and gain valuable experience
- Get behind the scenes of a major light art festival
- Be part of something special and help create memorable experiences for audiences
Volunteers must be 18 or over and will need to attend a pre-festival briefing meeting (date to be confirmed) to find out more about the role and what to expect.
