Applications to volunteer at Lightpool 2025 are now open!
Blackpool’s much-loved and award-winning Lightpool Festival is back and better than ever this October half-term! We’re excited to offer a fantastic lineup of free entertainment that will bring joy to everyone, no matter their age.
This year’s program, running from 15 October to 1 November, is packed with dazzling light displays, engaging live performances, and enchanting 3D projections. The festival art trail is completely free to enjoy and will take place in a variety of indoor venues and outdoor locations, giving you the chance to soak in the wonder of light in fun and unique settings all around town.
We’re aiming high with our plans and need a wonderful team of friendly, passionate, and responsible volunteers to help make this another unforgettable event.

Don’t forget, volunteers for Lightpool need to be over 18.
